IGNITESTRENGTH & CONDITIONINGINTERVAL TRAINING
IGNITE is a progressive weightlifting programme, the next best thing to PT! An hour long, each session follows a training plan ensuring that you are continually being challenged. Your strength and body composition is guaranteed to improve. We use a variety of free weights and machines to optimise your session. Class numbers limited to 14 to ensure you get the coaching you require. Strength & Conditioning combines strength and cardio vascular training. A great class if you are a runner, swimmer, team sport player, to help improve performance and reduce risk of injury. This session also compliments IGNITE sessions, ensuring you achieve all round fitness benefits INTERVAL TRAINING involves HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) and SIT (Sprint Interval Training), playing around with effort to rest ratios. A quick class designed to push your cardio vascular fitness. HIIT: working sub maximal effort for time periods, with a short rest period, SIT: working SUPRA max for very short periods, followed by a longer rest. These sessions will help manage body composition, help fight mid-life spread, improve cardio vascular performance
IGNITIONPTGROUP PT
IGNITION is a unique training programme, specifically for those new to weight training or returning after a long absence. It's a 6 week course, 2 sessions per week, designed to ensure you know all the basic movements, understand the importance of form, and become familiar with the principal of progressive overload. The 1st 2 weeks focus on all the key lifts, subsequently we practice, load and programme. Working in a group, max 8, you'll be supported, encouraged and often, surprised at your progress. Open to all, this is a very inclusive programme. At the end of the course, you will be equipped to walk into any gym, or attend any IGNITE FITNESS session. If you have very specific goals then you might fancy PERSONAL TRAINING. Working on a 1-2-1 basis with Pauline, you will undergo training sessions specific to you. Maybe you and a friend or 3 want to achieve something together, and reduce the individual cost. Maybe you are training for an event or competition, and want a specific programme to help you achieve this. A group can be anything from 2 - 6 people and you get sole use of the studio for your session.
